Dr. Oosthuizen is passionate about driving digital transformation in businesses through intelligent applications. She leverages her expertise in business, technology, and finance to help organizations prepare for the future. As an expert in applying Artificial Intelligence in business, she holds both an MBA and a PhD from Stellenbosch Business School. Her research has resulted in multiple academic publications exploring the integration of AI into business practices. In addition, Dr. Oosthuizen is the founder and leader of the SAP Partner AI Council of Australia. The council focuses on unlocking opportunities for the responsible adoption, operation, and scaling of AI across Australian industries.

As Head of Capability and Organisational Development at Mitre 10, she balances fun and function, creates safe spaces for growth and brings people along on learning journeys that add value to individuals and teams. She is a learning tech geek and is always trying a different app to be that 1% better every day. Her personal time is equally divided between long walks with her young son and puppy, cooking up the next Air Fryer miracle and serving on the board of the Migrant Careers Support Trust.

A frequent presenter at SAP conferences and a prolific contributor to SAP forums (both public and behind the scenes partner discussions), Chris loves to share his thoughts on working better and smarter with SAP technologies. In her new role as Security Specialist, the evolution of the SAP Security function and how organisations should be looking to expand and integrate their SAP environment across the entire cyber spectrum, has provided a wonderful opportunity to enhance the traditional security strategies around SAP into the more complex demands to defend against the ever present danger from cyber-attacks.
