  • Thomas Klemm

    Thomas Klemm is a Senior Vice President and head of Digital Supply Chain Planning development at SAP SE. ​ ​He started his career at SAP in 1988 as a developer for Retail and Procurement solutions in Walldorf, Germany. Between 1990 and 2005, he held various management positions for Procurement and then Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions. In 2005, he relocated to Budapest (Hungary) to build up the SAP Labs Hungary as a development hub for Supply Chain Management.​ ​Upon his return to the SAP headquarter in Germany a year later, he managed SCM development organizations in Germany and USA. In 2008 he took over responsibility for SAP Transportation Management with teams in Germany, USA and India. Since 2014 he leads the development of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) in various roles, coordinating development teams in Germany, USA, Canada and Hungary. ​ Since 2019 Thomas has global responsibility for the development of all Supply Chain Planning solutions, covering S/4HANA and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).​ ​ ​Thomas has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University in Kaiserslautern (Germany).​

    Ava is the Head of Enterprise Applications and a strategic IT business partner at Device Technologies, with over 20 years of experience in delivering complex system integration solutions and enterprise applications to a diverse range of sectors including Medical Device, Oil & Gas, Mining, Agriculture, Pharmaceuticals, Telecommunications, FMCG, Recycling, and Airlines industry. As a member of the IT Leadership team, Ava is responsible for communicating emerging technologies to the Business while ensuring IT and Business alignment and was recently a focal point for the architecture, design, integration, testing and delivery of the SAP S/4HANA upgrade project.

  • Professor Marek Kowalkiewicz

    Prof. Marek Kowalkiewicz is a Professor and Chair in Digital Economy at QUT Business School. Listed among the Top 100 Global Thought Leaders in Artificial Intelligence by thinkers360, Marek has led global innovation teams in Silicon Valley, was a Research Manager of SAP’s Machine Learning lab in Singapore, a Global Research Program Lead at SAP Research, as well as a Research Fellow at Microsoft Research Asia. His upcoming book is called “The Economy of Algorithms: Rise of the Digital Minions”.

    David has been implementing and managing SAP solutions for a decade across the entire business at TasNetworks. His blend of engineering, asset management and project management skills across utility construction and operations and maintenance sectors gives him a unique view across whole of business processes. His current role requires him to partner directly with Operations and Customer divisions to provide holistic digital solutions and roadmaps.

    Akash Kumar is an author, speaker, and techie for emerging and disruptive technology topics with a focus on Intelligent Enterprise. He is currently working as Solution Architect with HCL and supporting new products, services, and offerings on the Industry Cloud. He has supported multiple customers in digital transformation by creating business use cases and technology roadmaps, migrating from old to new technology such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform, and SAP Analytics, implementing new business model on artificial intelligence/machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain, and enabling business process simplification with Celonis and task automation with robotic process automation. He is the author of PlanViz: Improving SAP HANA Performance (SAP Press) and Building and Extending SAP HANA Live Views (SAP Press). He has a bachelor's degree in computer science and holds numerous certifications, including Scrum Master, Agile, IoT, Devops, SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Activate, and SAP S/4HANA.
