Using an implementation methodology that divides a project into phases with clearly defined deliverables is a critical first step toward warding off problems that put a project at risk of failure, and AcceleratedSAP (ASAP) is the most popular and proven implementation methodology in the SAP world. However, like most implementation methodologies, ASAP does not provide specific tools for carrying out the methodology and avoiding project risks.
