Obzervr achieves SAP Certification for clean core with S/4HANA Cloud

We are proud to announce that Obzervr’s Digital Work Management Solution has been certified by SAP for clean core with SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

This is a major milestone for both our solution and our customers across mining and related heavy industry sectors globally. As an SAP Partner, this latest solution certification not only validates our integration quality and cloud compatibility, but it also assures our customers that Obzervr offers a low-risk connection to their SAP environment, and is future-ready.

What is SAP clean core certification?

SAP’s clean core certification signifies that Obzervr has met SAP’s highest standards for integration quality, extensibility, and cloud compatibility. Clean core is all about keeping the SAP system as close to standard as possible – minimising custom code in the core system and enabling connections through approved, modern integration practices. With this certification, Obzervr’s Digital Work Management Solution can integrate directly with SAP S/4HANA Cloud without disrupting the core, supporting fast, stable upgrades as new SAP releases become available.

Achieving this status isn’t just a rubber stamp. Obzervr has undergone SAP’s rigorous review process which involves both technical evaluation and quality checks. This means all integration points, extensions and APIs were assessed for compliance with SAP’s “clean core” recommendations and security best practices.

‍

Why does clean core matter?

Adopting the clean core principle and choosing clean core certified solutions, such as Obzervr, delivers major operational benefits for organisations who rely on SAP:

• Reduces risk – using clean core solutions eliminates risk of disrupting key functions when updating or extending SAP – so organisations can innovate their capabilities safely and quickly.
• Better solution governance – organisations have better governance and change control because solution integration is carried out through SAP-approved standard APIs – not unsupported custom code.
• Reduces solution complexity and costs – third-party solutions certified for clean core will work natively with an organisation’s SAP environment – whether it is in the cloud or on-premise – reducing complexity, downtime and support costs.

These principles align perfectly with Obzervr’s own commitment to delivering a flexible, reliable and robust solution to support the digital transformation needs of our mining and heavy industry customers globally.
