Mastering SAP Women in SAP Scholarship Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions of Mastering SAP Women in SAP Scholarship (updated 12 September 2025)  

This document sets out the conditions of award for the below scholarships (‘Scholarship’) as well as the obligations of recipients (‘Recipient’) and Mastering SAP (‘Promoter’) in regards to this Scholarship. The administrative processes to support awarding this Scholarship will be managed, and may be amended by Mastering SAP at its sole discretion.

 

  1. SCHOLARSHIP NAME: Mastering SAP Women in SAP Scholarship

 

  1. PURPOSE

To support early career women in roles within organisations that use SAP solutions with the opportunity to improve their knowledge of SAP solutions and their use, connect with a supportive SAP end-user community and network with end-users in similar roles at other organisations.

 

  1. VALUE AND BENEFIT

3.1        Number of Recipients:

  • Up to twenty (20) Recipients may be awarded the scholarship each year, up to ten (10) in each intake period.
  • There are two intake periods, March / April 2024 and September / October 2024.

 

3.2        Benefit/s to Recipient:

  • Each Recipient will receive a single 12 month Mastering SAP membership (valued at $4,400 inc gst) that includes a Mastering SAP event pass, no travel or incidental costs are included.
  • No part of the scholarship is provided as cash or is convertible to cash.

 

  1. DURATION
  • The maximum duration of the Scholarship is one (1) year.

 

  1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must meet all of the following criteria:

  • The recipient/s must identify as a woman
  • The recipient/s must be working in a role using SAP solutions for less than five (5) years.
  • The recipient/s must be working in the ANZ or APAC region
  • The recipients must be employed by an SAP customer or imminent SAP customer (defined as an organisation with a signed contract for a SAP solution)
  • Mastering SAP reserves the right to validate eligibility criteria via reference to LinkedIn profiles and / or contacting the recipient/s employer.
  1. RECIPIENT SELECTION CRITERIA

Entries will be judged on skill with chance playing no part in selection. Judging is on creativity, originality, and relevance to the Mastering SAP community across the following criteria:

Challenges question (accounts for 27% of final score)
– Understanding of the industry and current issues / challenges as relates to their role

Future Innovation question (accounts for 27% of final score)
– Logical explanation of reasons the technology or innovation was chosen

Career question (accounts for 27% of final score)
– Understanding of the value of community and membership for career enhancement

Topics question (accounts for 20% of final score)
– Explanation of value of topic to individual

 

  1. SELECTION
  • Applicant entry is via the online form found at Mastering SAP Women in SAP Scholarship 2025 – Cohort 2
  • Only fully completed and submitted entries will be considered for judging
  • Eligible applicants will be forwarded to the judging panel for judging
  • Judges individually score each applicant based on the criteria outlined in point 6
  • The final score for each applicant is calculated as the average of all judges scores
  • In the event of a tied average score, Mastering SAP reserves the right to be final arbiter to rank those applicants.
  • The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • Recipients of each intake of the scholarship will be informed via email and on the Promoter’s website and social channels, For 2025 intake two recipients will be informed on 27 October 2025.
  1. GENERAL TERMS
  • By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • All entries must be received by 11:59pm on 6 October 2025
  • Instructions on how to enter are part of the term and conditions of entry
  • Only one entry per person per intake will be accepted.
  • The Promoter will not be held liable if the recipient is unable to attend the Mastering SAP Collaborate event in Sydney on 12-14 November 2025.
  • The scholarship, including Mastering SAP Collaborate event pass, is non transferrable
  • The Promoter will not be held liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.
  • To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter’s liability under or in connection with the competition or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost price of the Prize in question.
  • To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the sponsorship for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by a participant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and the promoter and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
  • The scholarships are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Where the scholarship becomes unavailable for any reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute that scholarship for a scholarship of equal or higher value.
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond The Promoter’s reasonable control, the promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the scholarship or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.
  • The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  • The recipient’s name, position, photograph and company may be posted on the social media profiles and website of The Promotor after the recipients have been selected. All entries become the property of the Promoter and will be entered into a database. The promoter may use the entrants’ names and details for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the applicant.

  • By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
