New Role - Partner Account Executive – MSAP

The Opportunity

The Partner Account Executive is a high energy sales executive who manages a dedicated new territory of named accounts of B2B enterprise technology companies. You will win them initially and then build lasting relationships across all marketing executives and roles within your named accounts.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in high activity selling of media, marketing, content and publishing services coupled with exceptional skills in developing long term meaningful relationships with their clients. These relationships are forged by keen insight into the client’s solutions, their market positioning and aligning those requirements with the Mastering SAP Membership that defines their ideal prospect targets.

 

The role reports directly to the Mastering SAP Chief Executive Officer, APAC.

Responsibilities include:

  • Grow a named account territory of 15-20 existing client companies all with an existing long term relationship with Mastering SAP.
  • Sell and renew an annual sales quota of $1.5M in annual bookings YR1 and grow aggressively year over year.
  • Responsibility for opening the door and selling into 200+ new logo prospect accounts.
  • Keep and grow all sold accounts year over year building a portfolio for growth.
  • Typical new logo contract sizes range from $19K to $80K.
  • Grow all client companies establishing long term relationships with Mastering SAP.
  • Network and develop multiple relationships and active buyers across every account.
  • Build deep spending relationships with key marketing executives in every named account including: CMO, VP, Directors and Managers of Event Marketing, Advertising, Lead Generation, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Field Marketing and Market Intelligence.
  • Partner with a dedicated Client Success executive to assure high quality delivery with every client.
  • Assure 100% client renewal and upsell with routine ongoing client relationship management.

 

Professional Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, SDR or BDR preferred.
  • Hands on sales experience in selling marketing and digital services building long term renewable relationships in every account.
  • Proven results in growing revenue and account penetration establishing multiple buying centers in every account.
  • Hands on experience with how to effectively position marketing services including lead generation, content creation, email, webinars, advertising, social media and event sponsorships.
  • Quota carrying sales accountability.
  • Keen interest in B2B enterprise technology marketing.
  • Experienced in solution selling approaches
  • Strong skills in high activity transactional selling while also building long term relationships in clients that result in high renewal levels year over year.
  • Experienced in working within an SFDC pipeline management environment.
  • Excellent speaking and writing communication skills.

 

Compensation

The Partner Account Executive enjoys a competitive base salary of $100,000 and an aggressive 4% commission on all sales up to plan and a 7% over plan commission accelerator with an uncapped income potential.

The role participates in all Mastering SAP employee benefit programs including attendance at all Mastering SAP events and summits, superannuation, gifted Christmas leave and birthday leave.
