This transformation improved financial transparency, boosted efficiency, and, within eight months, successfully equipped 420+ users with a modern, scalable ERP system.

Headquartered in Munich, Germany, with sales offices across Europe, NewTech Automotive focuses on expanding ultra-fast EV charging infrastructure. The company required a robust ERP solution to streamline financial management, optimise inventory, and improve operational efficiency. Building a Scalable and Unified Digital Foundation 

To support its rapid business growth and evolving operational demands, NewTech Automotive selected SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud as the cornerstone of its digital transformation. The implementation aimed to unify processes, improve financial transparency, and streamline key business functions across multiple units.

At the heart of the project was the deployment of a single-instance SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud system, designed to standardize operations and enhance cross-functional collaboration.

To meet specific business needs, custom Fiori applications were developed, ensuring a user-friendly interface and seamless system interactions. The solution also covered a comprehensive set of SAP modules, including Finance and Controlling (FI-CO) for automated financial management and compliance, Material Management (MM) to optimise procurement and inventory workflows, and Sales and Distribution (SD) for improved order and sales operations. Additionally, Production Planning (PP) strengthened supply chain visibility, Project Controlling (PS) enhanced cost tracking, and Leasing Management (RE-FX) facilitated IFRS16 compliance. The system was further integrated with Lucanet for FPM, ensuring efficient financial planning and performance management.

A dedicated team of eight consultants led the deployment, with five functional experts specialising in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cost Controlling, and Inventory Management, while three technical consultants ensured seamless configuration, development, and integration. This strategic approach enabled a smooth transition to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, setting the foundation for long-term efficiency and scalability.
