Rob Halsall

Rob is an experienced executive leader and Chief Procurement Officer, with extensive domestic and international experience working within leading Automotive, Chemicals, Telco, Tertiary, Financial Services and Public Sector organisations within EMEA and Asia-Pacific. Most recently he was Executive Director and CPO of Transport for New South Wales (2021-2024) and Westpac Group (2016-2019). This includes working at both internal Executive and external board Director level, providing leadership in business strategy and transformation, digital strategy and delivery, organisational design and operating models, program management and delivery, end-to-end procurement services and high-performance coaching for culture, individuals and teams. Rob recently held the position of ‘Expert Facilitator’ at the University of Technology Business School, he is a Certified Leadership Trainer and a Certified Behavioural & Emotional Intelligence Analyst. As a Principal Faculty Member with education provider AcademyGlobal, he also the Lead Trainer for CIPS ANZ and Public Sector Diploma & Advanced Diploma programs. Rob is also an experienced keynote speaker, having presented and facilitated at leading industry conferences across Asia-Pacific. Rob is the Managing Director of The Executive Athlete which provides a range of Advisory, Leadership, Coaching and Training solutions designed to optimise organisational talent, culture and performance.
