Gordon Donovan

Having over 30 years procurement experience leading transformations and establishing functions to deliver enterprise-wide value, Gordon is recognized as a leader who having qualified with a graduate diploma in 1996 and achieving a master’s in strategic procurement is a Fellow of CIPS. Gordon has extensive experience in developing frameworks, processes and governance ensuring world class procurement outcomes are achieved. He is recognised as a thought leader within procurement, and a sought-after speaker, writer and presenter Gordon has led procurement teams in Health, Rail, Finance and the public sector in the UK as well as in Asia. Within SAP Gordon’s role as Vice President of Research for Procurement and External Workforce requires him to continually track the latest trends happening in the procurement profession, carry out deep research on these trends and form insights that allow SAP to plan their strategy accordingly.
