New Role - Community and Membership Sales Executive

The Role

The Community and Membership Sales Executive is a hands-on professional with strong account management, sales and membership engagement experience and enrols SAP end users as community members. The Community and Membership Sales Executive is skilled at building meaningful relationships across all roles in their targeted member companies while also achieving monthly quotas. The ideal candidate has proven experience in building relationships forged by keen empathy and insight into the SAP end user unique needs and project plans.

Mastering SAP conducts two Australian events and summits annually where the Community and Membership Sales Executive works to drive membership enrolment including event delegate sales.

Mastering SAP provides ongoing sales skill development training to support professional growth.

The role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, APAC.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Achieve 30%+ year on year growth in memberships and meet monthly quotas including >90% renewal rate
  • Follow a high touch membership engagement model while also assuring trusted relationships are established across the top current member companies.
  • Work with a dedicated Member Success team to assure that every member is effectively enrolled and active.
  • Manage all in-bound marketing and ecommerce generated leads for membership / delegate ticket
  • Lead discussions across all prospect teams in SAP COE, platform technology, application development, IT Operations, cloud, cybersecurity, data, analytics, GRC, Finance, HR and Supply Chain.
  • Effectively position and align Mastering SAP’s Membership, Content, Expert Network, Education and Event experience services with each contact and company’s requirements.
  • Build long term relationships across all member companies assuring consistent annual event participation and membership renewal.
  • Manage reporting on Community pipeline and renewals using SFDC and ensure all contact history for every prospect is in SFDC.
  • Travel to Mastering SAP Events and Summits to work with Members.

 

Professional Qualifications

An ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2+ years of successful B2B sales experience.
  • Passion for working with IT and Business professionals on their educational needs associated to using enterprise software and technology solutions.
  • Commitment to achieving monthly sales goals.
  • An understanding of the value of community and membership
  • Proven ability to manage high activity prospecting in a community setting, and relationship development skills.
  • Exceptional speaking, writing and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong experience working within an SFDC environment.

 

Compensation

The Community and Membership Sales Executive enjoys a competitive base salary of $80,000 and an aggressive 4% commission on all sales up to plan and a 7% over plan commission accelerator with an uncapped income potential.  It is expected that the Community and Membership Sales Executive will exceed an OTE of $110,000 in year one growing year over year.

The role participates in all Mastering SAP employee benefit programs including attendance at all Mastering SAP events and summits, superannuation, gifted Christmas leave and birthday leave.
