Nagarro, a global digital engineering leader, and Google Cloud have announced the winners of their Innovation Challenge 2023. The competition drew numerous submissions, but only eleven made it to the jury’s shortlist. The top three winners — Wiener Städtische, Salzburg AG, and Vienna Airport — were honored with the coveted Innovation Award. These winners will now work alongside experts to further develop their groundbreaking digitalization projects.
The first-place honor was awarded to Wiener Städtische Versicherung AG for their project idea, voogle, a customized AI-powered search engine focused on delivering useful, understandable results.
Securing the second-place position was Salzburg AG, an energy and infrastructure provider, with their project, ENOX.energy to foster connected and sustainable energy use through this platform.
Vienna Airport claimed the third-place spot and was granted the proof-of-concept for their customer service project, BagPredictML, to provide accurate baggage claim predictions to passengers in the arrival halls.
The Innovation Challenge 2023 has been a resounding success, prompting organizers to consider continuing the event next year.
The Innovation Challenge 2023 finalists included A1 Telekom Austria AG, Krone Multimedia, REWE IAG, Rhomberg Holding GmbH, Saubermacher Dienstleistungs AG, Techem Messtechnik GmbH, Txture GmbH, and Unser Ö-Bonus Club GmbH.
