This week SAP announced the general availability of its carbon footprint accounting and analysing solution, SAP Green Ledger, to help organisations reduce their dependency on manual data for their carbon accounting. In a webinar on the launch, it was revealed SAP Green Ledger will allow for the creation of carbon postings using SAP’s AI copilot, Joule, thus providing an interesting space where ESG and AI work in tandem to help SAP Insiders meet sustainability goals. Additionally, the ESG and AI research centre has introduced Taiwan’s first SGS-certified greenhouse gas inventory solution, tailored specifically for Taiwanese organisations. The cutting-edge tool simplifies the inventory process, ensuring accurate data and adherence to the Ministry of Environment’s regulations.
