SAP Australia has been tasked with helping the New South Wales (NSW) Department of Customer Service transition several platforms from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.
The $51.8m contract, awarded earlier this month, includes SAP’s ERP software, the RISE finance platform, as well as human resources and payroll systems, CRN has reported.
The agreement spans from March 31 this year to May 30, 2030, with the initiative building on the NSW government’s successful consolidation of its SAP ERP systems, which integrated 60,000 users across various departments by December 2024.
