Big four consultancy firm KPMG Australia has joined the SAP PartnerEdge program more than one year after acquiring Think180.
KPMG is looking to work more closely with SAP after reporting “unprecedented demand” for its SAP implementations and advisory work.
“We are excited to be formalising our relationship with SAP via the SAP PartnerEdge program. This relationship reflects the growth in our team and ongoing investment in SAP following our acquisition of Think180 in 2023,” KPMG Australia national SAP practice lead Pauline Doherty said.
“KPMG firms are seeing unprecedented demand for our business-led approach to SAP implementations and SAP advisory work, and we are looking forward to working closely with SAP to meet this demand.”
KPMG’s digital transformation solution KPMG Powered Enterprise, enabled by SAP, helps customers to manage their S/4HANA implementations.
KPMG will also offer ESG services through embedding sustainability data into core business processes, aimed to generate actions from insight into ESG data.
SAP Business AI will also be a major part of the relationship, with KPMG aiming to build AI into customer core business processes to help connect finance, supply chain, procurement, sales, marketing, human resources and IT.
SAP ANZ president and managing director Angela Colantuono said, “We are pleased to continue to deepen our relationship with KPMG Australia and have them officially join the SAP PartnerEdge program. Joining the program marks an important step in our relationship and underscores our joint desire to deliver success for our customers.”
KPMG acquired Adelaide-headquartered SAP Asset, Work and Project specialist firm Think180 in February 2023 to bolster its SAP practice, adding some 30-plus staff to the consulting giant.
Founded in 2007, Think180 specialised in business transformation services for the energy, mining and construction sector.
