“I would describe the announcement as interesting, powerful, and challenging. Interesting because it matches a lot of what Sonae Fashion has been doing over the last three years regarding transformation and the move to becoming an intelligent enterprise, like changing and adapting to new business processes, trying to achieve higher business process automation, and trying to become more sustainable. Powerful because it is very aligned to business needs for companies and industries across the globe. This offering has the potential to impact a lot of companies. And challenging because it’s difficult to institute massive change across people, processes, and technol- ogy. However, in order to absorb the benefits of RISE with SAP, businesses will need to do just that, and to rethink the business from a holistic perspective. While it’s important to standardize, it's also important to understand the unique challenges that each cus- tomer faces and be able to address that. I think that other companies that are not so far along on their transformation journey and that decide to invest in RISE with SAP will require many different solutions to be put together to make the difference.
